With more than 190 businesses that accept the card, your options are basically limitless — but here are a few of our favorite suggestions to get you going. Our biggest tip? Spend it now!! Help our downtown businesses make it through these winter months by spending your gift card in January, February or March. Winter months typically are slower for any small business, and after the year we’ve all had… you could use an excuse to “treat yourself,” and the businesses could use a little extra cash in their registers. It’s a win-win situation all around! Using your gift card now also makes it last longer! While the funds on your card never expire, you do need to use your card at least once every 12 months in order to avoid a $2.50 monthly inactivity fee.
