Too Fat Lardies Overview
TooFatLardies – playing the period, not the rules
Welcome to the new web store for TooFatLardies, the vibrant wargames development partnership that produces an ever growing range of rule sets for what we think are discerning wargamers. The emphasis with any of our rule sets is on replicating the real core issues for each of our periods. The emphasis is on what Clausewitz described as “friction” on the battlefield, along side the stresses and pressure of command. The rules we produce reflect the periods that we ourselves game, and are consequently the product of our own enthusiasm. We hope that you will enjoy them too. Just click on the links at the top of the page to find what you are looking for in the wonderful world of Lard.N.B. Please note, this system is fully automated so that when you purchase a PDF file it is available INSTANTLY. You do not need to wait for us to send the file manually, but will be directed to the download page once the purchase is made.

I Ain’t Been Shot Mum Downloadable Card Deck – Lard Island ...
The cards are smaller than the original deck so the amount of ink you’ll use printing these out is much reduced. Let’s Play Sharp Practice – Lard Island News
Talking of which, I say Command Cards as though you’ll need a deck of cards to play Sharp Practice. In fact you’ll have a choice. A lot of players seem to prefer to use poker chips to draw them from a bag or mug; as a result we will be offering either cards or chips (or both if you want to be greedy!) alongside the main rules.
Sharp Practice – TooFatLardies
The ultimate set of wargames rules for large scale skirmished in the black powder era, Sharp Practice are designed to allow the gamer to launch himself into the world of his literary heroes, be they Hornblower, Sharpe, Brigadier Gerard or Harry Flashman.

Sharp Practice – TooFatLardies
Sharp Practice covers large skirmishes in the black powder era, from 40 to 60 men a side, but with room to push that up to 100 plus if you care to go large.
Mud and Blood cards... - Too Fat Lardies
Hi folks, A few years ago I made two packs of cards for M&B. I had a chance to used them again at the last meeting of my local wargames club. I was (quietly) impressed with the cards and thought it might be of some use if I share them here:
