Bright Flight is the foremost Paragliding School in the Alpine area of Bright, Victoria.Directed by Wally Arcidiacono, a highly experienced and energetic Chief Flight Instructor (CFI). Bright Flight offers the most up-to-date teaching, coaching and tandem experiences within the sport of Paragliding in Australia.Wally is an active contributor and mentor of the local flying community, the Australian Paragliding Squad National Coach, a currently ranked pilot in Australia and regularly competes internationally on the Paragliding World Cup circuit. Added to this, Wally’s background and formal training is in Education, so he not only understands the sport of paragliding but the best way to teach the sport to others.

Want to get someone else up in the sky?  Bright Flight Gift Vouchers don’t expire, and we’ll work with you to make it extra special.  Of course, you can send them up to launch on their own, or you can book yourself in too and join them in the air.Passenger RequirementsTo fly tandem with us they need to be between 30 – 100kg, and have done at least 10 laps around the sun.Tall or short is no problem, and so long as they can do a short light jog you should be fine, but if you have any questions about suitability please give us a call.What to wear and bringWe launch almost 600m above town, and the air can get cool up there.  A light jacket in summer, and a warmer jacket in winter.  Trainers, running or walking shoes work best, launching and landing is easy, but they’ll need to wear shoes you can do a short jog in.They’ll also want sunglasses, and any phones, GoPro’s or selfie sticks.PhotosIt’s 2021 and we all have smart phones. Our pilots can provide selfie sticks with leashes that fit most phones at no cost, and we’ll give you tips for the entourage on where to stand on launch and landing for the best shots of your take-off and landing.Weather to flyWhen we finalise the date and time with your passenger, we’ll discuss weather to make sure they get the most from your flight based on the timing available.We have a flexible weather rebooking policy, we’d rather you have a great experience with our team, than flying in air that doesn’t give you a fantastic experience.
