Yia Yia Mary''s first opened its doors in 2005. The Mediterranean kitchen is named after the Pappas family''s grandmother ("yia yia" is Greek for “grandmother”) and reflects the family history through the recipes passed down by each generation. Our team of chefs scoured the family recipe books to create the perfect menu of authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Yia Yia Mary''s offers appetizers that remain true to the custom of eating Greek: small dishes or "mezes" to be shared, like the Keftedes (Greek meatballs), Fried Calamari, or Hummus served with warm pita bread.
