This isn''t the taqueria type Mexican food we''ve gotten used to in the last few years...it''s more like the "Mexican inspired fast food" popularized by Taco Bell. However, this place is independently owned and operated and in my opinion has better food than it''s big chain competitors. One minus as far as Im concerned was the last time I was there they had converted a section of the seating area into a video poker den, which strikes me as not only kind of sleazy but also kind of weird... Shame on you Mexicali Express! Ha Ha! But hey, I like this place and Im sure I will be back."
