Our gift cards are sent electronically on the date you specify to the email address given. Payment for the gift card will be charged on purchase not on the date of issue and are valid for 12 months from issue. The value of the gift card is your choice. Once the recipient creates an account on brereton.ie with the email address that their code was sent to, the gift card will be allocated to the recipient''s account in the form of e-wallet credit. This can be redeemed at the final stage of the checkout. Gift cards can only be cancelled by the purchaser within 1 hour of purchase and will not be valid until confirmation email received. Unwanted gift cards cannot be returned and card codes cannot be used to purchase another gift card. If the recipient does not already have an online account with our site, the client will have to create an account using the email address the card was delivered to using the "My Account" section in the top right corner of the screen or during checkout. The funds will automatically appear and so will the option to redeem the funds against the cost of purchases in the basket. If the items purchased total less than the gift card amount, the remaining funds will stay in the e-wallet to use on the next purchase. If the items purchased exceed the gift card amount, the remaining value must be covered by payment card in order to complete the order. Items bought using gift cards can be returned or exchanged but not refunded, only additional monies paid over and above the gift card will be refunded and the gift card credit returned to the customer''s e-wallet. If you would prefer a gift card code that can be used in one of our high street stores instead of online, feel free to place your order through the website as normal. You can then contact us at webenquiries@brereton.ie to request a printed card code for use in store to be posted out to you instead of the e-wallet credit.
