Cedar Meadows Resort and Spa – Timmins, Ontario

Very nice place for a wedding. Various locations on site for the ceremony whether inside or outside and lots of opportunities for photo shoots. We had reservation for a room with a king size bed in January but when we got there, it was a queen. The person at the front desk said she could give us a king but that the suite we had was actually better. It was very nice with double shower, jacuzzi tub and fire place. Our patio door opened right onto the outdoor wedding area. On the Saturday morning, we actually had time to go to their mini Nordic Spa but when we got there at 10:00 am, they were running late cleaning the pools and said it wouldn’t be ready for at least another hour. Given that the wedding was at 1:30 pm, it wouldn’t have given us enough time to really get the full experience. That was disappointing as we had driven 8 hours the day before to get there and were driving back home on the Sunday. They have 2 couples of swans in the ponds on site which was nice.
