Special COVID-19 AdviceWhile we try to update our website often we can not keep up with Covid19 restrictions. Please check SA Health website https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/response for most current restrictions. We recommend those planning on travelling from interstate to wait till closer to date of arrival before making a booking.Social Distancing requirements included but are not limited to reduced numbers in amenities, camp kitchen and other communal areas. Our office space is reduced to one guest at a time & all payments to be done with a credit card, prior to arrival. A COVID-19 Declaration form must be filled out and handed to office on arrival (or in key return box if office unattended). Please use QR code each time entering office and during park organised events. We recommend those with own ensuite facilities to use them to prevent the spread and stay home if unwell. Those who have had to have a covid test must not use shared facilities or mingle with other park guests until after negative test result has been received.In the event of a snap lockdown all bookings will be cancelled and an email sent out. We will automatically place any monies paid into credit which can be used within 12 months. Refunds will be less service & bank charges usually 20%.Please note: We do not accept "Schoolies"at our park, those who might book online without our knowledge will not be allowed to stay.Located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Albert which is part of the Murray River''s Lower Lakes, Lake Albert Caravan Park offers a picturesque setting with lawn, shade, beautiful views and sunsets.A pleasant 90 minute (150km) drive south east from Adelaide, or 3 hours from Mount Gambier, the park offers a beautiful bush setting with stunning lake views, sunsets and bird-life. Nature at its best!The town of Meningie is fully self catered with many eateries, a very well equipped supermarket- Meningie Foodland, a butcher, a large rural hospital and alot of speciality shops. Find out yourself why locals like to keep this town a secret!Meningie is located only a short 25 minutes drive from Tailem Bend''s The Bend Motorsport Park meaning we are an ideal place to stay when looking for motorsport park accommodation.In the warmer summer months Lake Albert is a buzz with all sorts of watersports such as waterskiing, kayaking, sailing or just some fun just splashing around in the water.During the cooler winter months we allow our communal fire pits to be used. We also sell limited supply of bags of fire wood. (May to November,or when other fire restrictions apply). If you wish to bring your own that is okay as long as off the ground by 30 cms and you have something underneath to collect falling embers & to protect our lawns.We are a pet friendly caravan park on our powered and unpowered sites, however pets must be on leash at all times and under owner supervision. Sorry no pets allowed in park cabins. No dangerous or unruley pets permitted, management reserve the right to refuse if feel they may be a hazard. Cancellation policy - all usual typesBookings for long weekends (Anzac Day, Australia Day, Adelaide Cup Long Weekend, October Long Weekend, Queen''s Birthday, Easter and Christmas as well as entire January that are cancelled 31 days or more prior to arrival will have deposits refunded less a 20% handling fee (minumum of $40). Bookings cancelled 30 days or less with forfeit the entire deposit of what was taken. Min 1 day to max of 50% of stay.All other times: bookings cancelled 7 days or prior to arrival will forfeit the full deposit of first nights tariff. Bookings cancelled 8 days or more will have deposits refunded less a 20% handling fee. In times of mass cancellations, we may elect to refund you within 60 days of cancellation.Online bookings may forgo full payments made at all times.For payments paid via PayPal extra fees will be deducted from refund.Payment Plans- No refunds given on plan service fee. If a payment plan is unsuccessful (ie insuffiecient funds, expired credit card) we reserve right to cancel booking if we have not been able to reach you via email. Please ensure funds are available on due dates. A retry surcharge fee may apply.We recommend all guest take out domestic travel insurance with a cancellation policy that covers this type of cancellation.All bookings made via a 3rd Party such as Booking.com / Air BnB  MUST be cancelled directly with them and different cancellation terms may apply.In case of potential government declared pandemics (i.e. COVID-19) where travel is restricted we will gladly transfer to another time or put you in credit for up to 12 months.
