1 review of V.Lywood Café - CLOSED "After writing this review, I was messaged by an individual who I assume was the owner or manager (or both) of V.Lywood Cafe. I was invited back to have my drink re-made. I waited awhile before I returned because I was hoping they''d have all of their kinks ironed out. So, I returned and had my durian smoothie re-made. It tasted better than my original drink was. More flavorful and smoother (however, still with chunks of ice... this really is annoying). I give it one more star because I don''t really feel they deserve 4 stars. Maybe 3.5. Here''s the thing, although I had a better experience the second time, it didn''t blow me away. There are too many other cafes on 82nd or near by that makes durian smoothies better. My other gripe is I was asked in detail of what was wrong with my initial cup. It just didn''t taste good.. for multiple reasons. I really wanted to try what they were serving customers now as opposed to when I had my first drink. They kept stopping and asking me more questions about what I didn''t like about my drink. So, I don''t know if this is a fair reflection of the quality of the drinks they are producing when it''s not a customer returning due to a complaint. Just a thought."
