Ambrose and Eve – Columbus Ohio
One day in the summer of 2013, Catie Randazzo pulled into the lot of the late/great Dinin’ Hall to try the cuisine of a food trucker she’d heard was doing cool things: Matt Heaggans. She introduced herself with a big smile, and proclaimed that they were going to be friends. Heaggans remembers chuckling as she walked away thinking that she was way too nice and that she’d make it a year. Cut to five years later with a handful of popups and Columbus Knife Fight competitions behind them: Catie’s prediction came true. In the time that elapsed, the two kicked around the notion of working on a project together. Catie had been nurturing the idea of Ambrose & Eve for years. She looked at a few spaces, but an old house on South High Street caught her eye.
