It has been an incredible journey so far, and a definite creative whirlwind since we first opened our doors here at Sew Pretty back in 2013.I first discovered my mum’s sewing machine at the age of eight. As a curious child, I made many craft items, dresses for my dollies, played with materials and improvised techniques. I was determined to continue and grow my knowledge further.I’ll never forget the day I received my first Singer sewing machine at the age of fifteen. I continued my journey at the College of Fashion Design and started my own clothes label shortly after my graduation.My love for fabrics, handmade items and creating personalized designs has always excited me. I wish to share my passion for dressmaking and sewing to inspire others to learn this wonderful skill.Katya (Founder of Sew Pretty)
