Fünf SterneWe went to this hidden gem because it was recommended by a friend for their Balkan specialty “ispod peke” (slow cooked veal with vegetables). Five of us were greeted with a welcome as if we’re guests in someone’s home, seated, and served with home made house brandy (rakija). The staff quickly took our drinks order and recommended several house specialties and we chose slow cooked veal, slow cooked lamb, salad, beans, and fresh home made bread (fantastic). Food was served family style in generous portion sizes. Super friendly staff checked in with us several times while we repeated our drinks order with mouth full of delicious food. This restaurant is more than worth 45-50 minutes drive from Munich to a beautiful countryside where you can have your children play outside without anybody watching them (restaurant has a small playground). All ingredients used in food come from nearby eco farms: veal, lamb, pork, and all the vegetables. I warmly recommend this restaurant to people that enjoy great food, warm atmosphere, and premium (organic/eco) ingredients.
