The first national trust, the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, was founded in England in 1895 and operates as a charitable organisation serving England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Other national trusts have since been set up around the world.

If the card is not used for a period of 96 consecutive months (8 years) it will expire and any remaining funds may be deducted from it. (Use for the purposes of this term includes balance enquiries)

They can also be used for National Trust holidays when booked by phone and when you stay at a Historic House Hotel - Hartwell House, Bodysgallen Hall & Middlethorpe Hall. National Trust holidays include holiday cottages, bunkhouse & bothy stays plus selected campsites.
However the gift card is spent, every purchase made helps us look after nature, beauty and history, for everyone, for ever.

Any remaining balance is cancelled on expiry. We reserve the right to amend terms and conditions of our gift cards at any time and take appropriate action, including cancellation of a card, if necessary, in return for an appropriate refund.
