Steveston Seabreeze Adventures – Vancouver Whale Watching

Steveston Village is a destination not to be missed and is home to a myriad of shops and restaurants for all tastes, a perfect location to begin and end your Vancouver whale watching adventure.Steveston Seabreeze Adventures offers Vancouver whale watching tours from April 1st to October 31st. Join us for an exhilarating ride aboard our 40-foot semi-covered vessels accommodating groups of 23 passengers, offering comfortable inside seating and unrestricted outside viewing.  We also have a 12 passenger zodiac-style vessel.  Our vessels are coastguard certified and our Captains have extensive BC and Vancouver whale watching experience. We can accommodate up to 81 passengers in our 4 vessels. We have a certified naturalist/interpreter on board.What to ExpectOnce you arrive at our office (at least half an hour before your trip) you’ll be greeted by our friendly office staff where you will sign in, pay and get your boarding passes. Once everyone’s arrived your Naturalist and Captain will lead you onto your boat and go over safety information before you depart. Once you’re on your way you’ll pass by the historic Steveston Village harbour along the South arm of the Fraser River. Continue on towards the Gulf of Georgia where you will look for some of the marine life living along our coast! Our whale watching trips are not only fun but educational as well, and our Naturalists will explain all about the animals we see. They will collect valuable data on the marine mammals sighted during these trips such as geographical coordinates, abundance, behavior and individuals’ identification when possible. On board, you will also find maps and books about BC whales and other marine life.Our goal on our tours is to observe whales and marine life responsibly in their natural environment and to share that experience with you. We strive to educate our passengers about the whales we see and hope to leave you with an experience that will help you better understand these incredible creatures and how we can all help to ensure a better future for these and other marine mammals in our ecosystem.Many locals have yet to discover that this can be done so close to home and many of those who have, keep coming back!
