It is best to do a copy and paste of the redemption code straight from your gift card confirmation email.What permits are available with the gift card?Gift cards can be purchased for Seasonal and Classic permits.What do I require to purchase a permit gift card?To purchase a gift card, you will require:A valid email addressA registered permit account (permits.ofsc.on.ca).The last name ONLY & postal code of the intended recipient (This information must exactly match the last name and postal on the recipient’s OFSC account).A valid credit cardWho can purchase a permit gift card?The great news is anybody can purchase a gift card as a gift or for themselves, the registered owner of the machine. You will require an account on the permit system to purchase.How do I make a correction to the name or postal code on the gift card?Only the person who purchased the gift card can edit the name or postal code.Go to permits.ofsc.on.ca, click on “Purchase or Modify a Gift Card” and login to your accountGift cards you purchased will be listed on the page. Click ‘Edit’ next to the gift card you would like to updateHow do the fees on permit gift cards work?The fee for the gift card will be the same as the cost of the permit at the date of purchase. You can redeem the gift card at any point before May 31st, 2022 for a permit.How are the permit gift cards redeemed?The recipient of the gift card can redeem through his/her online permit account. The last name and postal code on the account must be the recipients last name and postal code as entered at the time of purchase.Do permit gift cards expire?Gift cards purchased for a 2022 Ontario Snowmobile Trail permit can only be redeemed when 2022 permits are available for purchase.Will I receive a physical card to gift as a gift?No. Your gift card will be included in your confirmation email once the payment has been accepted. You will then be able to forward or print the gift card to/for its intended recipient.Do I still need a permit if I purchase a permit gift card?Yes, the gift card IS NOT an Ontario Snowmobile Trail Permit and must be redeemed for a permit to legally access recreational OFSC Prescribed Trails.
