RAW MATERIALS / GARMENT PRODUCTIONWe have very close ties to Sri Lanka due to co-founder Mark having lived in the country for 8 years. All factories that are used, we know on a personal level and have worked with them in one guise or another for 10+ years or so.In addition, we directly employ a small team of workers at our office in Colombo; Ihsan, Pathmisri and Roshan. They are responsible for our bespoke shirt service, sampling, and factory/mill quality control visits.All the factories and mills we use have the necessary accreditations (SEDEX and Sri Lanka Apparel Association) to export garments/manufacture fabrics, and all abide by the SL governments strict exportation and employment guidelines.Sri Lanka is our main source of production, where we manufacture shirts, t-shirts, outerwear, socks and headwear. In addition, we source our jersey fabrics from the leading knitting mill in South East Asia.As a point of interest, the shirt factory we use has been in business for over 50 years and is proud to be the oldest shirt factory in Sri Lanka. Over the years they have manufactured for some of the biggest global brands, and finding a more knowledgeable factory on the subject of shirt making is a tough task..
