The chemical reaction will form a passive chromium oxide layer, which will protect the stainless steel surface. Then neutralize by spraying an alkaline cleaner such as UNO or FT 100 on the surface, and finally wipe the surface down with clean rag. If excess acid is not removed from the surface, neutralisation will result in the formation of salt residues on the surface of ther stainless steel.Marking & EtchingGo ahead, make your mark!
