After 31.12.2021 your account will be deleted automatically, you do not have to take any action for this. Your personal data will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations, as set out in our Privacy Notice. Your rights as data subjects, such as right of access, correction and erasure remain unaffected. As your partner, Medion will continue to be available to you for questions and assistance regarding your orders that have been place by December 31, 2021 and any possible warranty claims. Order Status After your purchase you will receive a confirmation email with your invoice. Please also check your spam folder in this case. If you have any questions about your order status, please contact our staff. Cancellation It is unfortunately not possible to cancel an order after it has been placed. Processing and production commences immediately and is fully automated after the order is received to ensure a prompt delivery. In this respect, please note the following point from our terms and conditions: Revocation After sending the order, cancellation of the order is no longer possible. A subsequent revocation is excluded. If the delivered goods have defects, the customer must inform Medion of these defects immediately with an exact description of the defects. In the case of defects in the delivered goods that are attributable to Medion, Medion is obligated to make a replacement delivery. If Medion does not comply with this obligation or the replacement delivery fails, the customer may withdraw from the purchase contract or demand a reduction of the purchase price. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions. For most complaints, returning the defective product is not required. Data protection ALDI Photos/ MEDION processes and stores your personal data for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual and legal obligations. If the data are no longer required for the fulfilment of contractual or legal obligations, they are routinely deleted unless their further processing is necessary – for a limited period – for the purpose of preserving evidence under the statute of limitations. Under sections 195 ff. of the German Civil Code these statutory limitation periods can be up to 30 years although the regular limitation period is three years. This also includes the fulfilment of statutory retention obligations under commercial law and tax law, as set out in the German Commercial Code or the German Fiscal Code. The mandatory data and documentation storage periods specified in the aforementioned laws range from two to 10 years.
