The myDubbo Region shopping card is an EFTPOS-based gift card that works like any other gift card or voucher based system, the only difference is the money can only be spent in Dubbo, Wellington and surrounding villages, at over 150 participating businesses.Simply visit a Load Up Store to collect a card and decide how much money to load onto it. You can then use the card to purchase goods and services at any participating business. 2. The Card is an eftpos prepaid gift card that is activated once funds are loaded onto it. It can be used for purchasing goods and services where eftpos prepaid cards are accepted for electronic transactions. The account type to be chosen at eftpos terminals is “savings”. The card cannot be used at ATMs for online purchases or over the counter at financial institutions. The Card is not a credit card and nor is it linked to a deposit account with us. Please be aware some merchants may choose not to accept eftpos prepaid gift cards.
5. After the gift card has expired, it is no longer valid and all transactions will be declined. 75% of the unused value may be reloaded to the card if Why Leave Town Promotions (https://www.whyleavetown.com/contact) are contacted within 60 days of the expiry date. Proof of purchase is required. After 60 days unused value will not be refunded and will become the property of Dubbo Regional Council.
