Having moved my family round four new builds across Lincolnshire I have always had a love for interiors styling and making my house into a home with cosy candles, blankets as well  as all the essentials for hosting. ​The journey started back in 2016 after gaining inspiration from friends and believing that we could do it. Alongside a full time job, my husband and I opened Pig and Poke in a small shop behind Caistor Market Place. With little knowledge about trading to the public, how to buy stock and everything else, we let people know what we were doing and hoped that they would support us!​After two years we realised that to really showcase what we wanted we decided to move Pig & Poke to a bigger premises in a new location. Just 100m down the road, we opened the brand new Pig & Poke in 2018, alongside our Pig & Poke coffee bar, serving hot and cold drinks and delicious cake.​The support was amazing, from local friends, local people we didn''t know and people travelling from all over to come and see us. In December 2018, just before the mad Christmas rush I decided to leave my full time job and become Mrs Poke full time! This is when I truly was able to appreciate and enjoy what I had created. ​Our team grew, now with full and part time employees we are able to give our customers the best we possibly can whilst having so much fun along the way.
