Bar M (formerly known as Bar Machiavelli) is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm. We’re open seven days for Weddings and Corporate Lunches. Housed in the historic former tyre factory at 10 Neild Avenue, Bar M is the younger expression of the Italian cuisine the Toppi family is famous for, sourcing the best local and imported produce and prepared under the skilful guidance of second-generation head chef and owner, Paola Toppi.Bar M offers a rotating selection of antipasti and our signature house-made pasta. We employ traditional Italian techniques to create pasta with a silky texture that feels light to the mouth. Our signature pastas include Tagliatelle with king prawns, cherry tomatoes, garlic, chilli and basil, Pappardelle duck ragù infused with thyme and rosemary, or baby gnocchi with sweetened blue cheese sauce.Bar M’s beverages complement our strong Italian focus, with the selection of wine expressing the contrasting regionality of Italian viniculture. The cocktail list is built on Italian classics with a Mediterranean twist and our varied range of signature cocktails that reflect seasonality and follow modern bartending and mixological trends.Bar M takes bookings for all parties of any size.
