Since that time we’ve grown to become one of the biggest independent cinemas in the southern hemisphere, with 16 theatres showing the best in quality indie, Australian and arthouse film. An essential part of the Lygon Street scene, Cinema Nova is a part of Carlton’s cultural fabric. With our exclusive seasons we’ve brought Melbournians their only chance to see on the big screen films such as Ex Machina, Snowpiercer, Mud, Cabin in the Woods, Margaret, Weekend, Citizenfour, Winter Sleep, Under the Skin, The Bling Ring, I Am Eleven, and of course Lygon Street: Si Parlo Italiano. CINEMA NOVA GIFT CARDS
Available as a $30, $50, $100 or Variable Value Gift Card, Cinema Nova Gift Cards can be used to pay for tickets to any session at Cinema Nova Carlton, or to pay for food and beverages at the Cinema Nova Candy Bar as well as the Nova Bar + Kitchen. Cinema Nova Gift Cards can be redeemed at the box office, candy bar, Nova Bar + Kitchen, online through the Cinema Nova website and also through our ticketing kiosks.

Cinema Nova Variable Value Gift Cards must have a minimum of $10 added to them and can only be purchased from the box office. $30, $50 and $100 Gift Cards can be purchased online and at the box office. All Cinema Nova Gift Cards are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. Cinema Nova Gift Cards can be used for all purchases at Cinema Nova, excluding Gift Vouchers, NovaTix and Gift Cards. Cinema Nova Gift Cards are fully recyclable. All other terms and conditions can be found on the reverse side of the Gift Card.
